This place is delicious!! A smaller menu but everything looked amazing. The tacos are on the small side so it’s good to get 2-3 at least. Definitely recommend!

I love this neighborhood restaurant and have been a fan going way back to their early days at the downtown Shreveport Farmers’ Market, long before this fine brick and mortar setup. This location was once a delicious burger joint in the early 1980’s called, Dietmar’s. True story. But alas, now it’s a tasty taco stand that has a love for live music and an ambitious menu to go with those jams.
This ambition intrigued me enough to get me out on a steamy most recent summer Tuesday evening and stand in line on the side of this restaurant exterior for a chance at one of approximately 25 spots to be served their incredible take on ramen. It truly is like capturing on of Willie Wonka’s golden tickets. A ticket for an extraordinary bowl of ramen served hot at this restaurant in staggered serving times every hour beginning at 5:30. Then 6:30 and 7:30.
The night of our attendance a shoyu pork ramen was served. Their noodles are all handmade for the ramen in addition to added locally sourced ingredients just making this entire dish extra special and well worth the $17 or so per big, amazing, steaming bowl.
My ten-year-old daughter was my dinner date on this night and she devoured the contents of her bowl after standing in line alongside me. She really enjoyed the whole experience as did I.
And the service here as always, and as expected, top notch, top to bottom, from first contact to final bill.
Ki’ Mexico. The ramen. Served every other Tuesday starting at 5:30. Then 6:30 and 7:30. Get in line early. First come first serve. Do it.

We had been disappointed in our “go to” Mexican restaurant so we went in search of a new favorite and we found it! Wait staff was awesome, great atmosphere, and amazing authentic Mexican cuisine!
